Slow Cook Oven Baby Back Ribs

Ingredients:

  • 2 racks of baby back pork ribs
  • 1 cup of your favorite BBQ sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp black pepper

Directions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). Line a large baking sheet with aluminum foil.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the BBQ sauce, brown sugar, honey, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.
  3. Remove the thin membrane from the back of the ribs by sliding a butter knife under it and then using a paper towel to grip and pull it off.
  4. Place the ribs on the prepared baking sheet, meat side up. Brush the sauce mixture over the top and sides of the ribs, making sure they are evenly coated.
  5. Cover the baking sheet tightly with aluminum foil and place it in the oven. Cook the ribs for 2 1/2 to 3 hours, or until the meat is very tender and falls off the bone.
  6. Remove the ribs from the oven and let them rest for 10-15 minutes.
  7. Preheat your oven’s broiler to high. Remove the foil from the ribs, brushing with more sauce if desired, and place the ribs back in the oven for 3-5 minutes or until the sauce is caramelized and bubbling.
  8. Slice the ribs and serve with your favorite sides. Enjoy!

Note: You can also slow cook these ribs in a crockpot on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 4-6 hours.
