°385 g (1 1/2 cups + 2 tablespoons) water at a specific temperature according to your bread machine model. See settings
°30 ml (2 tablespoons) sweet olive oil
°30 ml (2 tablespoons) maple syrup
°1 egg, beat
°20 g (30 ml / 2 tablespoons) chia seeds
°385 g (2 3/4 cups) La Merveilleux all-purpose flour
°3.5 ml (3/4 teaspoon) salt
°1 ml (1/4 teaspoon) instant yeast (or for a bread oven)
You will optimize your chances of success by using the measurements in grams given in the recipe.
Grind the chia seeds * in the coffee grinder. Combine all the dry ingredients, except for the yeast. Set aside.
Make sure the kneading blade is well inserted into the bread machine mould. Place the liquid ingredients in the order given above.
Placing flour mixture on top of liquids. Make a well in the centre and place the yeast (without touching the liquids).
Start the machine at the appropriate cycle according to your brand and bread machine model: See parameters
Wait about 2 minutes then open the lid, scrape the edges with a spatula so that all the flour mixes with the dough.
Closing lid and letting machine continue its cycle without opening.
As soon as the cycle is complete, remove the bread (do not leave it in the hot cycle), unmould it and cool completely on a wire rack. Wait for the bread to cool completely before removing the kneading blade.
