Ingredients:
- This recipe will make six bagels and calls for keto bagels calls for:
- 1 ½ cups of almond flour
- 1tbs baking powder
- 2 eggs
- 4tbs of cream cheese
- 2 ½ cups of mozzarella cheese
Preparation:
- Prepare the cheese mixture by microwaving cream cheese and mozzarella cheese together.
- Add your almond flour, beaten eggs, your cheese mixture, and baking powder in a food processor. You can also use your hands to knead the dough in case of unavailability of a food processor.
- Stop when the dough starts to ball up.
- To avoid the dough sticking to your hands, frequently wet your hands.
- Pinch your dough just enough to make one bagel at a time.
- To shape the dough in a pretzel-like shape, roll the dough into a snake-like shape and take the two ends and twist them from the center before connecting to the opposite of curl of the bagel.
- Or you are simply joining the two ends of your snake dough making a ring.
- Add sesame seeds on top.
- Bake the bagels for 14-12 minutes at 400F.
- Transfer to a cooling rack.
- Enjoy!
