°1 cup butter (2 sticks)
°2 cups sugar
°4 eggs
°3 cups precise, self-height
°1 cup buttermilk
°2 teaspoons vanilla
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Prepare three 9-inch cake pots by greasing them and adding paper paper optional. Whisk the butter until light and thin, then add the sugar and whisk for another 5 minutes. Add the eggs, 1 at a time, and mix well after each. Add flour and yoghurt alternately, start and finish with flour and mix well after each. Add the vanilla and hit it well. Divide between pans and bake for 25-30 minutes until set.
Turn the pans over the cooling racks and allow them to cool completely. Prepare Southern Caramel Icing where the cakes are cooled and then the cake frosts.
